Death in the prison.
On the area of the former excavation on May 28, an immediate rescue operation was carried out after pedestrians perceived a drifting person in water. Unfortunately, it turned out that the man showed no signs of life.
Death in a flooded quarry in Strzelin
No documents were found at the corpse. Therefore, at the moment, the priority is to confirm the personal data of the deceased, who was about 70 years old. The body was taken to an autopsy to the Forensic Medicine Department of the Medical University of Wrocław.
Investigators now determine whether there was an unfortunate accident or a murder?
– The police, under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office, will conduct activities aimed at determining whether a man could have contributed to the death of a man – informed Aleksandra Bezrąk from the Strzelin police.

This is not the first such death in this place. Five years ago, a young man drowned in the same pond. At the water there are rock shelves that are easy to fall into the water.
