At a stabbing on Daillyplein in Schaerbeek, a fatal victim fell on Tuesday evening.
In an earlier incident on the Hallepoort in Brussels, also a stabbing, an injured person fell. The public prosecutor has opened an investigation. For the time being it is not clear whether the different incidents have a connection with each other.
The emergency services were called on Tuesday at 10.30 pm for a stabbing on the Leuvensesteenweg at the Daillyplein. Upon their arrival, the victim appeared to have died. The laboratory of the federal police came to the scene for a trace investigation and a law doctor was demanded.
The public prosecutor has started an investigation to find out the precise circumstances of the facts. No suspects have been detected yet.
In a stabbing on the Hallepoort in Brussels, another injured person fell. « The police services were called around 10.45 pm last night to go to the Zuidlaan for a person injured in his leg after a knife stab, » says Sarah Gillet of the Brussels public prosecutor’s office.
« The victim would not be in danger. The investigation is in order to find out the circumstances of these facts and in the interest of this the public prosecutor will not comment further. »(CVH)
