Dead and the six occupants in the aircraft crashed in San Diego
The six people who were on the private aircraft crashed on Thursday in a residential area of San Diego, including the pilot, are dead, according to the US authorities’ announcement.
The plane, a Cessna 550 Citation, belonged to the federal aircraft regiments on the music agent Dave Sapiro, who was in it and lost his life.
The aircraft hit a power line before crashing in the district of California’s second largest city at 03:47 local time (13:47 Greek time), according to the US NTSB transport security authority.

« The pilot and passengers were fatally injured, » NTSB researcher Dan Baker said at a press conference yesterday, Friday. He added that no one was seriously injured in the ground.
The office of the coroner of San Diego County announced the names of three of the victims. He is 42 -year -old agent Dave Sapiro, 42 -year -old, 25 -year -old Emma Huke and 36 -year -old Celina Kenion.

Sapiro was co -founder of Sound Talent Group that has represented artists of the music industry, such as Sum 41 and Vanessa Carlton.

Like Diego: Dozens left their homes
The crash of the small aircraft sowed the panic in the San Diego district. Due to it, there was a fire in about 15 houses and cars and several building blocks were evacuated.
The tragic accident occurred early in the morning and while there was a lot of fog in the area, limiting visibility. So far, about 100 people had to move away from the district. About ten houses were damaged by debris.
The exact causes of the accident are investigated. NTSB announced that the pilot had not pointed out any problems with the air traffic control service, nor had he notified some emergency.
« At this stage we are trying to find out if the plane was equipped with a cockpit recorder, » Dan Baker said.
