Darko Janevski New MIA Director
The Supervisory Board of AD MIA – Skopje in today’s session elected Darko Janevski as CEO and Chairman of the MIA Board of Directors.
Janevski graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius and has long -term journalistic experience in several media.
From 1996 to 1999 he was a journalist in the weekly Focus, and from 1999 to 2000 he was the deputy of the chief and editor -in -chief of the weekly. In 2000 he was an editor-in-chief of the daily newspaper Nova Makedonija, and from 2000 to 2003 he was deputy editor-in-chief of the daily Vecer.
From 2002 to 2004, Janevski worked as a journalist in the weekly Pulse. From 2005 to 2009 he has been working again as a journalist in the weekly Focus, and from 2009 to 2012 is a journalist in the daily Nova Makedonija. From 2012 to 2013 he is the deputy of the chief and editor -in -chief of the daily newspaper « Nova Makedonija ».
Janevski works as the main and responsible crender of the daily Dnevnik from 2013 to 2017. From 2017 to 1018 he is the editor and host of the Alfa TV political TV show. From 2018 to 2025 he is the editor of the portal « Denesen.mk ».
The Supervisory Board at today’s session was elected by Pandorka Arsovska Gatsova as a member of the Board of Directors, in charge of the General Service of News. Arsovska Gatsova is an experienced longtime journalist in MIA, who was previously a member of the Board of Directors and editor of the internal editorial office in the period 2006-2017.
The Supervisory Board at today’s session concludes the termination of the mandate of the current CEO and President of the MIA Board, Dragan Antonovski.
The session also concluded the termination of the mandate of the MB member, in charge of the General Service of News, Ana Cvetkovska.
