The weather at the beginning of the long May weekend was wonderful: warm, sunny and without wind. The collapse took place on Friday, May 2 and will last at least until Sunday. Dangerous weather on Saturday reached the next regions. Synoptics were warned earlier.
The hail has already dropped. In some regions, storms
The emergence of dangerous weather in Poland is reported in social media of the weather groups. The first storms appeared in the morning in Nowa Ruda.
The Storm observers network reports that even a hail has appeared locally – including in Ruda Śląska and Jaworzno.
In turn, heavy rainfall occurred in Paczółtowice.
It is also dangerous in the Lublin region – storms also appeared there.
Heavy rainfall was also recorded in Lesser Poland.
IMGW synoptics alarm. Alert RCB was also sent
On Saturday, intensive storms are forecasted, which can occur in various parts of Poland. Therefore, meteorological warnings were issued, which affect both heavy rainfall and wind gusts. In particular, a second degree storms are expected with rainfall from 20 mm to 30 mm, as well as violent wind gusts, reaching up to 90 km/h. There may also be a hail in some regions.
