Danger of floods. Red code on 11 rivers

The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (INHGA) issued, on Tuesday, a warning of a red code for floods and overtakes, valid until Thursday afternoon on 11 counties, an orange flood code targeting water courses from Moldova, Transylvania and Muntenia, as well as a yellow code.

According to hydrologists, until May 29, at 2:00 pm, a red flood code, flows and levels will be in force, with possible exceedances of the defense quotas on the rivers in the hydrographic basins: Târnava Mare – upstream basin and the tributaries related – upstream basin sh Bălăuşeri and the tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Bălăuşeri (counties: Harghita, Mureş and Alba), Olt – upstream basin and the tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Hoghiz – ammonte SH Sebeş Olt (counties: Harghita, Covasna, Braşov and Sibiu) upstream AC. Măneciu (Prahova county), Buzău – upstream basin Nhoiu (counties: Braşov, Covasna, Buzău and Prahova), Bistriţa – tributaries related to the downstream sector of Izvoru Munteului (counties: Neamţ, Harghita and Bacău), Trotuş – Păzini Rosoasa Harghita, Bacău, Neamţ, Covasna and Vrancea) and Putna – upstream basin SH Colacu (Vrancea county).

Important hydrological phenomena will occur under an orange code, between May 27, 12:00-May 29, at 00:00, on the following water courses: Mureş-upstream SH Glodeni and the tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Glodeni-upstream confluence with the Arieş river (the counties: Harghita, Mureş and Bistriţa-Bistri. Harghita, Mureş, Braşov, Sibiu and Alba), Târnava Mică (counties: Harghita, Mureş and Alba), Olt – upstream SH Sebeş Olt (counties: Harghita, Covasna, Braşov and Sibiu), Argeş – Superior Bazin, Dâmboviţa – Bazin Superi: Târgovişte and the tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Târgovişte (counties: Dâmboviţa, Prahova, Ilfov, Ialomiţa and Buzău), Buzău – Pazazin up and Baniţa (counties: Braşov, Covasna, Buzău and Prahova), Suceava (Suceava county), Moldova) Ac. Izvoru Muntelui and the tributaries related to the downstream sector AC. Izvoru Muntelui (counties: Suceava, Neamţ, Harghita and Bacău), Trotuş (counties: Harghita, Bacău, Neamţ, Covasna and Vrancea), Bârlad (counties, Iaşi, Vaslui, Bacău, Galaţi and Vrancea), Putna (Vrancea county) related to the downstream sector confluence with the Suceava river (counties: Suceava, Botoşani, Iaşi, Neamţ, Bacău, Vrancea and Galaţi), Jijia (counties: Botoşani and Iaşi) and Prut – tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Drânceni (counties: Vaslui and Galaţi).

During Wednesdays and Thursdays, there will be overtakes of the quotas and on the rivers in the Prut – sector upstream of the Costeşti rock accumulation (Botosani county).

Also, a yellow flood code will be valid between May 27, at 12:00 – May 30, at 12:00, on the rivers in the river basins: Tisa – on the SH Valea Vişeului sector (entrance to the country), Vişeu, Iza, Lăpuş (Maramureş county), Someşul Mare (county), The tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Glodeni – upstream confluence with the Arieş river (counties: Harghita, Mureş and Bistriţa Năsăud), Târnava (counties: Harghita, Mureş, Braşov, Sibiu and Alba), Olt – Pazin up (the counties: Harghita, Covasna, Braşov, Sibiu, Vâlcea and Argeş), Călmăţui (counties: Olt and Teleorman), Vedea – upper basin and middle and lower basin (Argeş, Olt, Teleorman), Argeş – Superior Possi and Lower Students, Ilfov), Ialomiţa (counties: Dâmboviţa, Prahova, Ilfov, Ialomiţa and Buzău), Călmăţui (counties: Buzău and Brăila), Buzău (counties: Braşov, Covasna, Buzău, Prahova and Brăila), Suceava (Suceava county), Suceava) Neamt, Harghita and Bacău), Trotuş (counties: Harghita, Bacău, Neamţ, Covasna and Vrancea), Bârlad (counties: Neamţ, Iaşi, Vaslui, Bacău, Galaţi and Vrancea), Putna (Vrancea county), Râmnicu Sărat (the counties: the counties: Suceava (counties: Suceava, Botoşani, Iaşi, Neamţ, Bacău, Vrancea and Galaţi) and Prut (Botoşani, Iaşi, Vaslui and Galaţi counties).
