Damian Gjiknuri with residents of the Economic Zone in Vlora
Damian Gjiknuri’s candidate held Tuesday afternoon meeting with residents of region no.4, known as the economic zone.
Residents expressed support for Gjiknuri, claiming the fact that when Gjiknuri was a political leader in Vlora, especially to the area he contributed, lobbying for the implementation of projects or infrastructure investments. They demanded from Gjiknuri the continuation of the legalization of objects in the area, finally removing the red line that separates the classification of the industrial area from the urban area. This demand of the inhabitants came after Gjiknur was the only one, which, with his mediation, enabled him when he was a political leader in Vlora, opening the green light to the legalization process. Residents stated that only he could bring this process to the end, outside of which 85 apartments remain without being legalized.
