“Cyprus Day” event in three primary schools from Fogem – Cyprus Newspaper
Folklore and Youth Center (FOGEM), Alayköy, Gönyeli and Dr. Suat Günsel held a “Cyprus Day” event at the State Primary School.
According to the information provided by FOGEM, the “Cyprus Day” event held in three primary schools brought together cultural heritage children.
In the event, the “Fogem Folklore Feast 2025” photography exhibition was presented to the students and teachers from the lens of Taşçı Academy photographers from the year. The exhibition included antique items, folk clothes and traditional costumes used in daily life in Cyprus.
Equipped with cultural elements, the event attracted the attention of teachers and school administrators as well as students. In the event, traditional Cyprus Games were staged with school administrators, teachers and students.
In the event, where cultural transfer was provided with one -on -one experience, the students had fun and met with values that were about to be forgotten.
Taşçı gave a short concert to the students of Cyprus songs at the event where Taşçı was also performed by Taşçı.
Fogem aims to implement the “Cyprus Day” event organized for the first time this year at more schools in Cyprus in the coming years with richer content.
