Ina Minister of Smart Administration and Regional Development Inga Berzina (JV), on the other hand, believes that Joren Liop, Head of VDA, should take full responsibility for the problems in organizing the election.

She promises that specific decisions will be made after the electoral process is closed.

As reported, the counting of votes in the 2025 local elections on Saturday and night on Sunday is faced with technical problems. Problems in polling stations, facing technical problems were also during the week when the previous voting took place.
