Customs on Easter – from giant scrambled egg to the « Easter witch

Easter is celebrated differently depending on the denomination and culture. There are striking differences even among Christians. While the Spaniards organize a large procession before Easter, the citizens of the city of Haux cook a huge omelette on Easter Monday in France. Customs at Easter: These traditions are available in Germany

1. Color eggs: Egg coloring is one of the most popular Easter customs in Germany. The eggs are colored either very colorfully with dyes or as a natural alternative with onion shells. Then you hide the eggs in the garden or give them away.
