Customer raises sex worker, steals her handbag … and then brings it back: parquet spreads images to find the perpetrator (inland)

The public prosecutor spread images of the facts.

Ostend/Zeebrugge

Because he was not allowed to do a certain action, a man in an Ostend brothel put together a sex worker. He stole her handbag, fled away but brought the loot back that same evening. Five months after the facts, the public prosecutor is now spreading images to find the perpetrator.

On surveillance images of an Oostend’s brothel you can see how a man gets a fight with a sex worker on December 6 last year. Her statements showed that he wanted to make an action, but did not get permission for that. He then decided to leave the case. Nothing wrong, until the man suddenly pulled out.

Pack of cigarettes

« The investigation shows that the suspect took the tram that morning in Zeebrugge in the direction of Ostend, » says Eline Goeminne of the Ostend police. “ »This is a ride of one hour. He was filmed by surveillance cameras. The same evening of the facts, the suspect brought back the victim’s handbag. Only a pack of cigarettes was missing. ”

The images also show that the suspect wore a different pants on his return than at the time of the facts. It is a man with a dark beard. He walks in a striking way. He was wearing a dark jacket with hood, a black hat and light -colored pants.
