Culinary hell in the kitchen – murder and difficult relationships
Rarely was the « crime scene » judged as simply as it is nutritiously about the intimate relationship between two people. « You and the Moritz, you are like a liver cheese and a vinegar gurker. It just fits, » said the « Incasso-Heinzi » (Simon Schwarz), in order to bite the Sommel in such a little later. Bibi Fellner (Adele Neuhauser) and Moritz Eisner (Harald Krassnitzer) are the big aging couple who cannot find each other because of sheer speechlessness – or now? In this Vienna’s “crime scene” episode Much revolves around relationships, all of which are difficult to incompatible in their own way, and a top restaurant that serves great culinary art for guests, but behind the kitchen door the interpersonal hell (ARDSunday, 8:15 p.m.).
A « crime scene » with a lavish suspect menu
The devil lies in his blood one morning, stabbed. Restaurant leader André Brauer (Daniel Keberle) was a man who was out of his employees, the kitchen brigade, the last one to simply reserve them when he was done with them. So he also held it with his loved ones, who are so pretty « Pantscherl » in Austrian. His frustrated wife Alicia (Martina EBM) took revenge on them in their own way. This means that a lavish suspect menu is again.
In “Messer”, the screenwriter Sarah Wassermair fills the conditions in the kitchens of many top bars with their strict hierarchies and the apparently inevitable barracks gift tone. What people put up with under such circumstances, but still strive with a touch of masochism after supposed cooking perfection, that was recently in three seasons of the fascinating series « The Bear: King of the Kitchen » ((Disney+). There a young chef strives to the top, but on the way there the interpersonal human is too often on the track.

This Viennese « crime scene » looks a little like the well-boiled brew from the 26 « The Bear » consequences so far. But in this case this is not a shortcoming, on the contrary. « Messer » offers the best Viennese « crime scene » food with an interesting topic and A little more: while high-priced works of art are created in the top restaurant, the investigator duo Fellner/Eisner gets something from the plastic bag of the China snack between the teeth, which the two are allowed to enjoy on the flat roof of the police building-but can enjoy the wonderful inner city of the city.
The “crime scene” case is solved during the relationship interview
Oh yes: After Eisner and Fellner have been able to approach some of the episodes for some episodes, this time they can actually talk about themselves after a few attempts, at least somehow. With the pretty side effect that Bibi comes the crucial thought of who could have stabbed the devil.
This episode is not three-star film art, but as good and crispy and filling as a real Viennese schnitzel with plenty of vogerl and potato salad.
