CSKA and « Black Sea » asked the draw for the Bulgarian Cup to be drawn again

Two of the teams ranked for the semifinals in the Bulgarian Cup tournament expressed disagreement with the draw on Diema Sports and demanded that the procedure be repeated. The Black Sea was the first to spread a declaration, and a few hours later CSKA did the same.

The two clubs must face each other in the semi -final phase. The main arguments of the « Black Sea » are that the balls are not mixed before the start of the draw, and the Varna citizens are perplexed by the fact that a three -year -old child is involved in the determination of couples.

« PFC Black Sea expresses its disappointment with the way the rivals of the semifinals in the tournament for the Bulgarian Cup were determined.

What all football people saw was that the draw for the most important stage of the race was not withdrawn according to the requirements of FIFA and UEFA. According to them, everywhere in such cases, the balls in the sphere are pre -stirred before being pulled. Something that was not done on Thursday night. For us, and for the football public as a whole, it was not a lot, but an announcement of the rivals of the 1/2-finals of the tournament race.

We all unite in the fact that we want to raise the level of Bulgarian football, and at the same time with such amateur performances, we show the public that we do the exact opposite.

PFC Black Sea states that there are no claims to the opponent who has fallen because all the teams have earned their ranking for this phase.

Our sole claims are about the way rivals were determined, as it created a feeling among all that side factors influenced this to happen in this way.

We believe that it is appropriate to hold a new draw in which the rivals are determined by the rules. Namely, after stirring the balls in the urn, in the presence of representatives of the teams, participants in the race, and neutral persons, « is the official position of the Black Sea.

However, no official representatives of the clubs were present for these semi -finals. This is the standard procedure in any European Football Federation that validates the draw and provides legitimacy and confidence in the results of it.

It is normal practice to have a lot of drawing during working hours, in the presence of club representatives, the organizers of PFL, the BFU, the media, the sponsors of the tournament and other guests. Just as it has happened so many times in the tournament for the Bulgarian Cup over the years, and in this edition. Moreover, even an official representative of PFL, the organizer of the tournament for the Bulgarian Cup, which cannot help but be at least bewildered.

CSKA has no objections to the draw in this improvised draw, in this case – the team of the Black Sea. CSKA is ready to go on the field and in an honest football battle to argue about the right to play in the final for the Bulgarian Cup with every club in the country.

But such a negligent attitude and « non -standard » procedures for drawing a draw to the Bulgarian Cup are unacceptable and are an expression of disrespect for the participating clubs, competitors and coaches and hundreds of thousands of football supporters across the country.

CSKA is the most titled club in Bulgaria and the emblem of native football and cannot remain indifferent to such actions. We have always defended the principles of combativeness, transparency and fairplay, which are fundamental to the development of professional sports. This draw, similarly conducted, undermines the confidence in football institutions in Bulgaria and creates unnecessary doubts and suspicions of dishonest play.

CSKA insists that this lot be held again, in full compliance with the rules for holding such events, in the presence of representatives of the organizers of PFL, BFS and the clubs ranked for this phase of the tournament.

CSKA calls on PFL, as the organizer of the tournament and lot, to make every effort to carry out it so that there are no occasions for absolutely no doubt about the honesty and legitimacy of this draw and that this event becomes a benchmark for such draws. We believe that football institutions in Bulgaria owe this to the clubs and their players, as well as to the millions of fans, thanks to which there is football in our country.

CSKA is a club with a huge history, traditions and millions of supporters who expect to protect their interest. Because of them, we are calling for the highest standards and professionalism in the organization of Bulgarian football.
