Crowdfunding ‘house made’ losers Ashley & Emiel for the time being not successful: barely 1,351 euros (Mechelen)
The day after the final of House -made (VTM), in which the Antwerp couple Emiel (24) and Ashley (25) saw their dream home drilled through the nose, sympathizers started a crowdfunding. But it does not yield much for the time being.
On Thursday at 8.30 pm the counter was 1,351 euros after 49 donations. « Every couple was matched! Ashley and Emiel van Mechelen just besides their dream house, but also deserve this so hard, » says organizer Nora Vangastel. « It may not always have been rose scent and moonshine on TV, but they are such loving people who have so much love for each other. » The goal is to eventually collect 15,000 euros.

In the meantime, the crowdfunding for the other losing duos has been running for a few days longer. More than 1,250 people have made a gift to the West-Flemish couple Axelle and Seppe. Their counter is at 21,350 euros. For Limburgers Iman and Mo, it is an amount of 15,865 euros. With those amounts, a large part of their own input will in any case still have to be made, because for the time being the amounts are too low to take out a loan.
