Crop declaration: fewer requirements, more opportunities
According to Jolanta Ašmonienė, Advisor to the Department of the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), according to the new description of the standards of good agriculture and environmental status approved by the Minister of Agriculture, the requirements of GAAB 4 due to reclamation ditches are reduced. « From this year, 3 m protection strips must be left only to the land reclamation ditches that are at least 3 km or with a pool area of at least 5 sq. Km and where the water flow is at least six months a year. It will already be marked by about 95 percent of the applicants in the application system.
Shortened periods
Replaced GAAB 5 (protection of erosion sensitive areas (slopes)) and GAAB 6 (soil protection during the most sensitive period) provides for minimum maintenance of herbaceous plant vegetation or their remains. In previous years, the coating was required from November 15 to March 15. This year, this term is shortened – the soil must be covered by March 1.
According to this amendment, the terms are also shortened in the relevant ecological systems.
Lower requirements for plant change
J. Ašmonienė also pays attention to reduced requirements for plant change. « In 2024, according to GAAB 7, 65 % of the arable land was required to replace the main crops every year. This year, the area where the annual plant change is required to be reduced to 35 %, which can be grown for several years in a row. It will be possible to grow cultures in the same place for two to three years. ”
In addition to general requirements, the bureaucratic burden has been reduced for those growing corn. They will no longer need to provide data on the number of relatives kept or registration as feed growers in the Register of Economic Entities approved by the Republic of Lithuania. Growing intermediate plants, corn in the same area will be able to grow indefinitely.
Innovations in protecting the landscape
« After the European Commission has changed the regulation for all EU countries to reduce GAAB 8 requirements for preserving landscape elements. From 2025 there is no claim for 4 % of arable land for non -extent. Buildings that do not divide, but can provide refuge for the fauna and the benefits of biodiversity, and water bodies: ponds, ponds, lakes – maintenance and prohibiting hedges and trees in the bird breeding season from March 1 to August 1.
Possibility to higher benefits
« More farmers will also be able to participate in ecological systems by reducing the size of the suitable area. For example, in the ecological system » Landscape Elements « , farms up to 50 ha can participate with 10 A landscape elements. Previously, only farms, which had up to 10 ha of arable land, were able to implement the ecological system with 10 A support, said J. Ašmonienė. – Reduced support for support areas with other ecological systems. «
As the GAAB 8 requirements have changed and there is no need for arable land to leave for non -production activities, the complex ecological system « Aryt of Arytime » has also been changed accordingly. The previously used methodology of efficiency and efficiency has been abolished and now, with the involvement of this ecological system, no longer has to coordinate production and non -production activities.
The exception is the use of certified seed. When declaring more than 100 hectares of arable land certified seed, one of the following activities will need to be selected: « plant change », « intermediate crops », « non -carrital agricultural technologies », « Landscape elements », « short -lived wooden plants », « perennial grass bands ».
« Another important change is that from 2025, with the same farm animals, several ecological systems can be involved: » Complex Care of Meadow and Urin « , » Extensive Welsh Management « and » Animal Welfare « . Previously, farmers had some animals to be assigned to one and the other to another organic system. Now there will be no need to do so, ”said J. Ashmoniene, Advisor to the Department of the MoA payments for the area. – Simplified the management of the works performed. It only will need to point out how many animals are assigned to the ecological system, no longer having to write animal numbers. It is important that the rules are not grazed than allowed in the rules. Changing national legislation has also changed a bit of management requirements. ”
If you have any questions
