Croatian Employers Association: We need to accelerate digital transformation in Croatia!

The HUP-Communication and HUP-ICT (HUP-ICT) coordination for artificial intelligence, an initiative that currently brings together 76 companies from all HUP associations, leading industrial experts from a number of domestic industries, legal and regulatory experts and representatives of the academic community, have been established.

According to a statement published on Thursday, the establishment of this coordination is a strategic step of HUP with the aim of stimulating innovation and acceleration of the use of AI technology and the total digital transformation in Croatia, as key determinants of the competitiveness and success of our economy and society in the coming period.

HUP states that the European Commission has recently introduced a « Competitiveness Compassion », which aims to facilitate and accelerate business and ensure the well-being of Europe. The application and development of artificial intelligences have been highly placed on a priority list for Europe to keep up with other large economies in the increasingly complex and more competitive world. Accordingly, the HUP coordination for artificial intelligence will allow a systematic and organized approach to the application of artificial intelligence in different sectors and in doing so create a long -term value for society and the economy, they state.
