Croatian boutique bakery with a lot of expansion on domestic and US markets

The Croatian Bakery Boogie Bakerery, which has been well known among the Zagreb residents for a long time, has been reaped in the United States since this year. Delta Airlines already offers its bakery products in some of its years and wants to expand its cooperation, and is starting to cooperate with the Konzum retail chain in Croatia, Croatian media reported.

The US airline Delta Airlines flies to hundreds of destinations worldwide and performs about 5,000 flights per day. He has been working with Boogie Bakery since the beginning of the year and offers his bakery products on the years between Croatia and the USA.

Due to good results, Delta Airlines has suggested that Boogie’s bakery products be included in all its flights around the world, the Croatian culinary portal Kult Bloa Kamenica wrote last week.

In Croatia, the company, meanwhile, began pilot cooperation with Konzum, in which this Croatian merchant introduces the entire program of his bread for the first time. Collaboration began in one of Konzum’s stores in Zagreb, and soon expected to expand to an additional 30 locations around the country, Croatia reported Business diary.

Boogie Bakerery was created as a Kroštula baker founded in 1991 Ante and Snježana Vulin. Initially, he worked as a wholesale bread for wholesale in the local environment, and then in 2001 they expanded into retail with the opening of the first bakery in Zadar. In 2013, his son Karlo Vulin took over the rehearsals, and by 2018 the company had shifted exclusively to the production of sour dough products.

The bakery developed at Boogie Bakery in 2020, and three years later opened its first boutique bakery and clear Boogielab in Zagreb. At the same time, they began to spread to the US. Last year, they opened another clear in Zagreb, where they have two production facilities, and a production facility in New York began to develop.

In the US, according to the Blue Kamenica cult, more than 70,000 frozen bread and sour dough breads are exported every month. They sell their products at more than 150 locations across the US, mostly in New York, as well as across Europe. Products in the US are currently transported by sea from Croatia.
