Two years from the mass murder in the Elementary School « Vladislav Ribnikar » in Belgrade, there were issues without response and deep sense of victims of victims that unregistered crime did not receive an epilogue.

He also claims that the conviction was adopted under pressure from public and power.
Due to the crimes in Ribnikar, several civil proceedings are also conducted, one of whom was completed by determining the responsibility of the BC and School’s parents.
Before mass murder, the school did not act in accordance with « due professional care » and illegally organized student duty, a senior court announced.
This decision is important, but the established responsibility should not only be on paper, but should also accept the school and former director, which did not happen, Miljana Martinović said.

Year of trial
About 11 months during which 2024. year lasted the trial of parents KK, Miljana Martinović describes as « great mrservation of families ».
« It was our decision to attend our hearings. It was the only space where we hoped to get the answers we need, because the parents refused to testify in the lawsuit.

They filed a criminal complaint against individual school employees, but also against Veselin Milić, the head of the Belgrade police, and LVs, due to the presentation of children in public, which underage KK wanted to kill.
None of them reached the trial yet.
Due to media reporting and coarse violation of journalistic codes, civil proceedings against several media are launched, among which only one ended.
« During the first six months of crimes, sensationalist reported, with the placing perpetrators to the fore.
« He was presented as a victim of one’s behavior, and the children from the list were those who were marked as a reason for his act.
« And because of that narrative, all children became a victim, and children who survived, and most killed, » Miljana Martinovic says.
From the day she spent in court, he concludes that they are almost « having no rights. »

What are the punishments awarded?
Father of the boy, Vladimir Kecmanović, arrested 3. Maja 2023, was sentenced to 14 years in prison and six months, for criminal offenses to neglect the child and a difficult work against general security.
Mother Miljana Kecmanovic, who is at large, was sentenced to three years in prison for neglecting a child and not allowed to hold ammunition.
This procedure was « conducted under great pressure », because « the state wanted to show that there is no mistake and responsibility in organizing school classes and that the crime has nothing to do with social circumstances, » says lawyer Borivoje Borovic.
« The state does not care to prevent violence, it is promoted through the media and people from the political top, » he says.
Nemanja Marinkovic, an instructor of shooting, was convicted of a year and three months, the shooting instructor in which the boy taught him to shoot.
Ratko Ivanovic, owner shooting, made a plea agreement.
He was sentenced to five months for a five-month detention because of giving false testimony, since he said he had not seen a boy to practice in shooting.
‘The system has scheduled’
Immediately after the mass crime, government representatives repeatedly reiterated that « the system did not schedule » and that « life goes on »
« That life goes on is an undeniable fact, but this does not imply not pause and judge in what ways should take care of children and sustain the community, » Millary Martinovic says.
In civil proceedings, which was conducted against parents of boys and primary school, it was determined that there was a responsibility for at least one part of that system – educational institutions.
This, however, was not put in point, says lawyer Božović.
« I don’t believe that story is over here. Any responsibility should be reviewed.
« I can’t reconcile with a statement given 3. Maja that the system did not schedule.
« The system has scheduled fat, » he says.
The parents of the victims of the previous months pointed out that changes to the criminal law, but also the regulations on weapons and shootings.
« It should be in the right way to approach and issue weapons licenses and to change the attitude towards weapons so that it is not promoted, » Martinović says.
But it is also necessary for everyone to move from yourself.
« We need to talk about peer violence, but thus the problem descends to children, which did not become such itself.
