CP trend not need compensation for the green pass
The infrastructure minister said on Monday that, to maintain the trend of increased revenues of the first two months of the year, CP will not need any compensation for the 20 euros Green Railway (PFV).

In his intervention as a speaker invited to a lunch-Debate promoted by the International Club of Portugal, in Lisbon, the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing highlighted as one of the main measures of the government in the area of mobility the PFV.
The ruler criticized the “prophets of misfortune”, who considered that this measure would undermine the survival of the rail carrier.
According to data advanced by the Ministry of Infrastructure on April 1, CP – Comboios de Portugal transported 32 million passengers in the first two months of the year, more 2.5 million than in the same period of 2024. Revenues increased 3.9%to 35.2 million euros.
