The US government is now supporting laboratory theory with a new website. The page that resembles a poster for a Hollywood film shows the title « Lab Leak » in capital letters – i.e. laboratory leaks. Between the two words there is a determined US President Donald Trump.
The title is handwritten: « The true origins of Covid-19 ». On the side, media, politicians, health authorities and the famous US immunologist Anthony Fauci are accused of spreading the theory of a natural origin of the virus. However, there is a lot of indications that the virus came from a laboratory in the Chinese metropolis of Wuhan. The explanation on the website comes in a time great tensions between the Trump government and Beijing. At the same time, the most important rules from the Corona period such as a distance and mask carrying and the lockdowns are criticized as incorrectly on the website.
