Football former bosses, two and a half years after the first case on the allegation of fraud, Switzerland again appeared before the judge.

In 2022, the Swiss Federal prosecutors rejected the decision of the sub -court in 2022 and paved the way for a new hearing.

The case was related to the payment of 2 million Swiss francs, which Blatter authorized for the use of the former French national team captain and coach Platini in 2011.

In his defense, the duo stated that the payment was given in exchange for consulting services between Platini between 1998-2002 and that FIFA was partially postponed from the lack of financial power to pay at that time.

In 2015, Blatter and Platini were banned from football on the grounds of ethical violations by FIFA.

The prosecutors requested a two -year postponed 20 -month imprisonment for two names and asked for the return of the money.

In the second case in the Swiss Federal Court, the highest judicial body of the country, the way to appeal for Blatter and platinum, which is also innocent, is still open.
