Cooperation between the United Kingdom and the Albanian Police, an example to be followed by partners
In London the Border Security Summit was held today. Part of this technical meeting was also the Director of the Criminal Police Department Neritan Nallbati and the Director of the Department for Border and Migration Saimir Bosniak.
During the summit, they discussed finding the most effective forms and ways to prevent and combat trafficking in human beings and smuggling immigrants. Nallbati referred to the Summit experience of cooperation between the State Police and the United Kingdom counterparts.
Summit leader, Graemme Biggarm, Director General of NCA, praised the Albanian Police and emphasized: « Operational cooperation between the United Kingdom and the Albanian Police is the most excellent example to be followed by all partners in the joint fight against human trafficking, migrant smuggling and organized crime. »
During the summit, Nallbati also held a meeting with the NCA Director, a meeting which confirmed the support of the NCA (German police) for the Albanian police. Bosniak met the UK Migration Director, Bas Javit, who thanked the Albanian police for professionalism and commitment to prevent and hit the smuggling of immigrants.
