In 2024, the road traffic offices in Switzerland withdrawn 86,995 travel cards. People from third countries, on the other hand, have to complete a check -up within a year so that they can drive around on Swiss asphalt. Anyone who rattles through this test must no longer be at the wheel.

Where does this increase come from 34.3 percent? The Federal Office of Streets assumes that this has to do with the Ukrainians who fled to Switzerland after the Russian attack war.
Since April last year, the one -year exchange period has also been in effect to people with protection status. Previously, the refugees were given two years to convert their travel to a Swiss. That is why last year, thousands of Ukrainians suddenly had to trot to a control trip.
