Considerable solutions in Godafoss
There have been considerable solutions in Goðafoss in Skjálfandafljót in Bárðardalur, but the waterfall is a very multifaceted tourist destination.
Vilhjálmur Grímsson, a farmer in Rauðá, who is above Fosshól, which is at Goðafoss, says in a conversation with mbl.is that the solutions now are nothing unnatural but he has half of the land to Goðafoss on the east side.
« They are still a little big considering that here is completely snowless and there are just a little scrap in the top mountains in Bárðardalur, but a lot of rainfall has created these solutions, » says Vilhjálmur.
He says the waterfall was very watery the previous day in great solutions but reduced them.

« You have been watching the waterfall for over 50 years. You see changes in it in such a situation, but you don’t mind it, » he says.
Asked if there is a great tourist flow to the waterfall, he says:
« In the best days there are about two to three thousand people there and when the cruise ships come to Akureyri, tourists flock to Goðafoss, » he says.
