Confirmation of non-conviction available on the portal uslugi.gov.mk, new e-services for citizens
Two new services from the basic courts are available on the National Electronic Services Portal – USLUGI.GOV.MK – Certificate of Criminal Records for natural persons and a certificate of criminal records for legal entities.
The new digital certificate of non -conviction completes the package of the most important digitized services for citizens, besides the already available – reports of the Registry, Certificate of Citizenship, Property List and vehicle ownership.
Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski, announcing the news today at a news conference that it is the most used current services from the Basic Courts, which together with the completion of the package of court confirmation that citizens and companies need daily.
« In this package, the confirmation of penal records and confirmation of the prohibition of performing profession, activity or duty have also been digitized, it is about documents that are often needed in everyday life – for employment, application for public calls, educational procedures and many other legal and administrative procedures.
As he said, in the coming months there will be a « new wave » of e-services that will be available to citizens and will be from areas of transport, energy, education and health.
Asked for networking of institutions digitally checking whether certain licenses exist, Andonovski said that the Ministry of Digital Transformation would develop smart licenses that would test and offer to the institutions that would need to digitize internal processes. He pointed out that the institutions are already connected through the National Interoperability Platform, but that it is insufficiently used as it is currently connected by about 50 institutions. For the last seven years, she said, she had not even had proper maintenance and no new tools were developed.
– Driven by the tragedy in Kocani, we will make that software that we will make available to all other institutions… The software and the tool we will develop will be very easy to use. Practically, it will only alert when it comes to lacking some of the evidence that someone predicted. For example, in order to have a license obliged to have three employees, as your figure drops below three, the system alerts the institution that one of the conditions is not fulfilled – explained Andonovski.
Asked whether the Ministry of Digital Transformation will be involved in creating a comparative digital price list of the articles that sell all markets in the country, after their obligation to declare the prices independently, Andonovski responded that at a government session it would be considered which institution would undertake that obligation.
« Although the Ministry of Economy is in charge of monitoring the prices and behavior of the market and traders and we would not want to interfere in their competencies, if any support is asked or to make this software, we will do so, » Minister Andonovski added.
