Conditioned traffic, stores and metro stations closed on the day of the title

The traffic circulation is conditioned on several streets in Lisbon because of the celebration of the championship title. Sporting or Benfica, one of them will be sacred champion this Saturday.

At issue are the roads next to the Alvalade Stadium and the Marquis of Pombal, where the title celebrations are planned. Conditions will take place between 13 and 18h ​​and after the end of the event, in the arteries surrounding the Alvalade Stadium, namely Padre Cruz Avenue, Professor Moniz Pereira Street, António Stromp Street, Francisco Stromp Street, Dourado Rua, Alameda das Torres, Campo Grande and the 2nd circular.

In addition to traffic conditioning, there are also several stores and four stations of the Metropolitano that will be closed.

The two decisive games for the title are held today at 18h, when Sporting hosts Vitória de Guimarães and Benfica goes to Braga.

PSP has evaluated both games with “high risk”, as the result will dictate the champion of the 24/25 season

In a statement, the PSP reinforces “the appeal to which everyone lives in an orderly way” so that the authorities can ensure the safety of all.

“We have been doing that the football party is just that: a party,” says PSP.
