Competition Career at the age of 13: Adri’s story

His father also competed, and based on his life tales and adventures, he thought a big Adrienn Nagy in 2022. In the meantime, he was playing sports, there was aerobics, tennis, athletics, volleyball, but somehow none of him grabbed him, he wanted to change after a workout. Perhaps he was already in the technical sports, car racing, the cars He’s fine, he just felt small.

« He tumbled his father until he took it to his grandfather’s site once, where there was a huge concrete parking lot for the trucks, » Mary recalled. – After 15 minutes, my husband called me to send a video, I didn’t believe my eyes, Adri had already drove a car alone, more precisely, like many routine drivers. He said he wanted to be a racer. Of course, I said right away, and then you stopping it, and then what would happen to the car, but the family stood next to the man to sell it at most, give it a chance.

The first racing car became a little Suzuki, Adri wanted a girly design, and finally got a white-black-pink painting, which was already transformed into a racing car, stiffened with laundry tubes, « gutted », upholstery, dashboard, seats, music without music.

« The only one was an extra one pillow that Mom put me to the session, and later of course we solved it a professional, as my dad has a complete masterpiece behind me, » the young champion smiles. -With the little « 1000 » I won the cups in my category, but I wanted to improve, the little favorite was only 80 horsepower, I felt like it was good for walking, not for race, but I really like it now, he gave the basics.

It is no longer possible to start with a car above the performance of this age group, so Adri switched up, but his team was with the 175 -horsepower new Honda to dream big and let the little girl in the adult field and named it there.

« I was a little angry that my innocent expensive little teenager wanted to compete with the big hairy, found guys, but when Easter Sunday was the second best in Easter Sunday, I felt if I was worried about it, » Mary continued. « Of course, when the referee said, Adri’s car lit up, I got a slight infarction, but fortunately the smoke was literally bigger than the flame, we got away. »

« This car is fast, stretching, starting program, easier to steer, and I can handle it, » Adri took the floor. – I knew. I let myself go, went very well. In my eighth race, I went in front, but I slipped on a wall, slipped, and returned to the track after half annex. I would have printed it on, but the engine had punctured from the collision, and in the technical language I cut the car. I know where I made a mistake, I know to protect this, I’ll go on.

Two weeks later, Makó should be ready for the car in the Great Plain Cup, and the crew is already looking for the new engine. In the meantime, Adri goes to school, or more precisely going to Transylvania with school and girlfriends. He does not plan to travel for the summer, he wants to learn car installation so that he can take part in his racing surgeries next time:

« I am most proud to recognize my grandfather, he just saw to compete, and he saw the will, faith, momentum. » What do I do when I don’t sit in my car? I study, I’m with girlfriends – my « civilian » girlfriends are not excited by motorsport, so it’s not a topic. I listen to music as a 13 -year -old average girl.
