The 44-year-old mother of the minor Perenaar who stabbed an agent at a school gate in January 2022 was sentenced to 80 hours of community service on Friday. In the stabbing, the woman with her both fists knocked on the policeman. She claimed not, but witnesses contradicted her.
On January 27, 2022, a mother and her eldest son were on the way to the Agnetencollege in Peer. They ended up on the way in a traffic roping. The son started honking and had to come and explain to an agent who arranged the traffic. When the local police officer took the protesting young man for a Fouille, the fence was off the dam. The mother intervened and handed out some strokes.
It went completely wrong when the youngest son, who was 12 years old at that time, pulled a knife and stabbed the agent. « He thought the agent was going to kill his brother, » was the mother’s explanation. The judge reacted furiously to the trial. « Please, that little one must keep his mouth shut, » it sounded. « How often did the police kill people here? This is about it. I think he watches too many videos. »

Stranglehold
During the interrogations and on the process, the Peerse woman stated that he was innocent. In her own words, she only wanted to intervene because the agent kept her son in a stranglehold. She claimed not to have touched the agent. Statements from independent witnesses contradicted her story. Also in the criminal file there is no question of a stranglehold by the agent.
In the judgment, the judge talked about a lack of awareness, an aggressive attitude, a lack of respect for public authority and a lack of respect for the inspector. The woman, who had a blank criminal record, had asked for suspension of the punishment. Due to the seriousness of the facts, the court does not accept this.
Compensation
The woman now receives an 80 -hour work sentence. If she does not complete this, she is a prison sentence of six months above her head. The costs of more than 300 euros are for the account of the woman. She owes 500 euros in compensation to the agent plus a legal allowance of 314 euros. The young knife tractor was previously sentenced by the juvenile court to 120 hours of community service. His brother was imposed for 40 hours.
