Column | There were only more like me

While the world was burning, I was family -wide with the film on Sunday afternoon How to do a dragona title that strangely enough is no question mark. I don’t want to spoil too much, but the answer is, as with all Western children’s films: by being curious about the enemy instead of getting rid of it immediately. Not that the message immediately penetrated: my daughters (9.7 and 4) needed the first hour to recover from their anger because we had not gone to a Pathé cinema for a change, but to a cinema where there are no bins with candy, popcorn or chips in the sight line. Then they slid into the cheerful children’s moral.

Not me, I stayed GeenStijl.nl but refresh on my mobile because they are freeing someone who keeps an eye on the entire internet. Not that my news hunger did something, the bombing back and forth were no less and for you it has no effect whatsoever. For columnists who know exactly how things are going and who are happy to take you on your way to the right side of history, I would like to refer you to colleagues with more missionary urge. I do have one, an opinion, but I am not affected with repentance and moreover I am the discussions in which everything and everyone is tied together more than tired.

I don’t say it quickly, but there were only more like me. I am already looking forward to the upcoming talk show week, with the well -known heads. Are Eva and Wilfred and Johan back from vacation to silence their temporary successors? The fall-out of the world news is being felt increasingly fierce. In the past, the misery was close by and far away, but then we did not give away the broadcasting time to everyone. Rarely was the quality among our experts and politicians so small and at the same time the eagerness to find something so great. You see them rocking to not hide their opinion and – nowadays too – sofas. The world does not care about this laziness, and you hopefully not. Unfortunately we live in a country where an increasingly larger part finds it easy that there are a few in between with understanding of everything. The next step is that the majority indicates one. Then we are finally rid of that annoying freedom of expression.
