Details: The deputy (now the former -ed.) Commander of one of the military units from Vinnytsia region issued a certificate to servicemen about their participation in hostilities, while they performed tasks in the Kiev region.

According to the investigation, in the period from September to December 2022, 62 servicemen were sent for tasks to the Kiev region, which at that time did not belong to the areas of fighting.

The above colonel signed the documents on the basis of which the military unit from Lviv region was paid totaling UAH 4.8 million « combat » for these fighters.

At this time, the territory of the Kyiv region no longer belonged to the war zone, so such a payment of cash was illegal.

The former chief of staff – the first deputy commander of the military unit was informed of suspicion of negligent attitude to military service, which caused grave consequences in the conditions of martial law.

According to the UE in the prosecutor’s office, the court elected a warranty in the form of a collateral in the amount of 908 thousand hryvnias.
