Cologne disco in top ten: These are the best clubs in the world
The best club in the world is on the holiday and party island of Ibiza. That goes out of the current ranking of the specialist magazine « DJ Mag » out. The “Hï Ibiza” in Playa d’En Bossa has been at the top since 2017. The magazine above all emphasizes the innovative strength of the shop. In particular, the lighting, the sound system and an exciting line-up of large headliners and aspiring stars can score.
And not only that: There are five discos from Ibiza among the top 15: In addition to the leader « Hï Ibiza », the « Ushuaïa » (3rd place). Both are directly opposite and are managed by the same operator. The « Amnesia » (11th place), the « Pacha » (13th place) and the « DC-10 » (15th place) can also score.
The “Greenvalley” in Brazilian Camboriú occupies 2nd place. The discotheque offers space for up to 10,000 guests. The top 5 are completed by « The Warehouse Project at Depot Mayfield » in the British Manchester (4th place) and the « Echostage » in Washington, USA. Both offer space for 10,000 and 3,000 party guests.

Only two German clubs in the ranking
The best German club is the « boathouse » in Cologne (7th place). The former shipyard camp in the middle of the Mülheim district was largely involved in the spread of EDM and moshpitious Dubstep in Germany and Europe. 2,000 people can dance here.
In the top 100 there is only another dance location from the neighboring country with the Berghain in Berlin (16th place). The Techno Club, around which many myths-mainly because of the strict bouncers and the ban on photography inside-lost three places in the ranking compared to the previous year.
No local is represented from Luxembourg. The first French discotheque on the list is the « Amnesia in Cap d’Agde » at Montpellier with 38th. The restaurant opened in 1984 in the south of France is a Mediterranean open-air club, the design of which is based on the style of a Greek theater. After all, it could improve by 17 places in the ranking.
Asia is the new party hotspot
A total of less than half of the top 100 come from Europe. Asia, on the other hand, is on the rise. The region now has more than 30 clubs. The « Savaya » in Bali, Indonesia (6th place) and the « Illucion » in Phuket, Thailand (9th place) are particularly well placed.
