Collision of trams in the center of Warsaw. Injured 18 people
The incident occurred just before 8am on Tuesday, April 29. According to the Warsaw Police Headquarters, at the roundabout of General Charles de Gaulle two trams collided with each other – one invaded the back of the other.

« At 7.45 at the roundabout of Charles de Gaulle in Warsaw, two trams riding towards the center collided. 10 people are injured. Six ZRM. The tram movement blocked. A rescue operation is ongoing » – informed on the platform X Meditrans.
It is now known that there are many more victims.
– Tram line 7 invaded the tram of line 9. We have information about 18 people injured – including a driver of one of two trams. There are all services on site, including our tram. Of course, we will determine the exact causes of the event – said Witold Urbanowicz, a spokesman for Warsaw trams.
He added that the tram movement in both directions of Aleja Jerozolimskie is suspended, and the trams go a detour through the Śląsko-Dąbrowski bridge.
The event took place in Aleje Jerozolimskie at the National Museum 06 stop. A rescue operation is still underway, it is known that several people were taken to the hospital.
