Coalition for Governance? LDK closes the door to Kurti:
There is no white smoke for the creation of the government. The Democratic League of Kosovo has closed the door to Prime Minister Albin Kurti. This is to hold negotiations on the opportunity for VV and LDK to create a coalition together for the creation of the new government in the country after the parliamentary elections. LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku says he will keep his word on the electoral who voted for him not to make a government with Kurti, and did not mention the latter insults to the LDK during the election campaign. Kurti sent a LDK letter to hold a consultative meeting.

Dear citizens of the Republic, in politics, as in life, words have weight. They are a reflection of character, values and goals. They are a reflection of moments that, when repeated, often become insurmountable. For us, in the Democratic League of Kosovo, the word is a responsibility. It’s a commitment. It’s a faith. Therefore, each especially those with power must be responsible for the words they say and the beliefs they sow. For months, and in fact for years before, during and after the LDK campaign, our members and our voters have been the subject of a language and mindset that offends, divides, labels and attacks. A mindset that has hit the human essence of politics, respect and dignity. And has violated the basic principles on which we have chosen to make politics.
It seems that the words and beliefs fed in the ongoing are not the same for everyone. Because, despite all the things said, done and overwhelmed, yesterday I received a letter from the leader of the Vetevendosje Movement, Kurti for a consultative meeting between us. Although I and LDK do not be guided by anger; No matter how we believe in dialogue, cooperation and human and political communication; Such an even consultative meeting would be a fatal overcoming of human and political dignity.
Amidst ‘Hajvanat’, ‘Drowning of the LDK’, ‘Serbian Associates’, amid the great salivary swamp to us-I, LDK and our voters-we do not even find ourselves for consultation.
Because words, as well as beliefs, have weight. The words spoken to us have weight. And our words what we have given to our citizens, those who are not seduced by the spectacle of division but who believe that the state is built with respect and dignity have the weight of the given word. The weight of the besa. There will be! Let this answer be clear to others who recently, taking the weight they do not have, have attempted to tell the LDK what to do. LDK is faithful to the decisions, beliefs and words spoken before the campaign, during the campaign and after the campaign to understand well. To everyone alike.
Because words have weight! The LDK awaits and supports the constitution of the Assembly on April 15. There is no and there will be no obstacles. Therefore, let us constitute the Assembly of the Republic. The LDK recognizes the legitimate, democratic and constitutional right of the first party to receive the mandate for governance. And in the event of its failure, it recognizes everyone’s right to build the majority. Our attitudes are clear. Yours, Lumir Abdixhiku.
