CNA, on automatic fire on Tiktok, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram
New eliminations of materials on social networks. The National Audiovisual Council (CNA) decided to transmit, between April 28 and May 9, 43 orders to eliminate some materials that have illegally content from the Tiktok, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram platforms.
« The National Audiovisual Council – CNA, having the only authority to regulate the audiovisual content, including in the online environment, applied the national legislation in the field of combating illegal content. Based on Regulation (EU) no. DSA), between April 28 and May 9, the CNA decided to convey to Tiktok (23), Facebook (18), YouTube (1) and Instagram (1) 43 decisions on the order to act against the illegal content ”, a CNA statement said on Friday.
The total impact of the CNA decisions related to the content given for elimination (at the date of monitoring) was 1,937.121 followers and 3,378,490 appreciation.
According to the quoted source, the CNA decisions aim to eliminate the reported illegal content, including the redistributions and replications of the content in question. Also, after the order, the platform has the obligation not to allow the same illegal content to recharge.
« We mention that a decision on the order to act against the illegal content may contain one or more materials identified on the same platform, » says the CNA.
