CNA, Decision to suspend the Realitatea Plus emission

« Realitatea Plus was sanctioned on Thursday by the National Audiovisual Council with the 10 -minute emission suspension for Călin Georgescu’s campaign throughout February, announces Paginademedia.

According to the CNA, the post violated the provisions of art. 139 of the Code of regulation of the audiovisual content (‘advertising, positive or negative, in connection with political parties, politicians, political messages is forbidden, except for the periods of election campaign’) in the shows: ‘Open the world’ (08.02.2025), ‘News’ (09.02.2025), ‘Realitatea’ (21, 23.02.2025) special ‘(22.02.2025). In addition to the suspension decision, the CNA applied to the post Realitatea plus fines and public summons.
