CMC: City landfill in Demir Hisar burns, for now the fire is under control
City landfill in Demir Hisar is burning, according to the Regional Center for Crisis Management Demir Hisar (RCC).
The statement said four firefighters from the Demir Hisar Territorial Fire Brigade with two fire trucks, the public utility Komunalec Demir Hisar with five workers and one building machine, intervened on the ground.
– RFUK Demir Hisar reports information from PCE Komunalec Demir Hisar, which states that a fire at a city landfill in Demir Hisar has begun. Intervention by TPPE Demir Hisar Four firefighters with two PP vehicles, PCE Komunalec Demir Hisar with five workers and one construction machine. Additionally, another private entity has been sought with one construction machine that has not yet arrived – CMC said.
The fire, they add, is under Controla for the time being and there is no expansion of the rest of the landfill, but, as they say, the appearance of wind is difficult.
« Car tires are burning with heavy black smoke, the fire is under control so far there is no expansion of the rest of the landfill, but due to wind, the extinction is difficult, » CMC added.
