He reached the so -called « roof of the world » with two Lithuanians – Justas Narkevičius and Nerijus Pranckevičius. For the first time in the history of Lithuania, even three Lithuanians, not individuals, managed to climb almost simultaneously to the peak.

According to A. Valujavičius, it was really difficult – it took not only a lot of physical strength. There were and who had to turn back from the Lithuanian group. Even the guides complain that this year the conditions are really difficult: aggravating the hill is aggravated, and many people will climb to the top of 8,849 meters. Many have been coughing, the flu in the camps, and where the weather is still poor.

« The most important thing in Everest is the weather, and they were not, what predictions. Second – the crowd, because there were both professionals and beginner groups. The latter caused congestion, the movement was slow.
