Classic Fest Festival from 13. to 15 June in Pancevo – Culture

Ognjen Popovic, the Festival’s artistic director, « As always, I have been most important to me. So far, we have been performed for all of us. This year, we will repeat a work, but with a very good reason. We will perform the last night Evergrin Svitu Ante Grggina, which we have already taken out at the open air brewing. The fact that our famous clarinist is 80 years old and this is a very nice opportunity. He will be at this concert, which is a small sign of gratitude for wonderful music written.

The ceremonial opening of the festival is scheduled for 13. June, at 20.00 in the Roman Catholic Church of St. Karl Boromese, when they are on the program of the work of Tchaikovski and Subert. The entrance to the concert is free of charge, and the musicians are performed by Violin, Na Stanić – Violina, Nemanja Stanković – Violinčelo, Slobodan Gerić – Klarinet, Boštjan Lipovšek (Slovenia) – Horna, Nenad Janković – Bošta.

DAY LATER, 14. June UU 20.00 In the Svetosava House within the concert of classic festa, the program is part of Mozart, Risa and Roman-Korsakova. Musicians perform: Lorenzo Kosi (Italy) – Klavir, Milena Lipovšek (Slovenia) – Flute, Aleksandra Kingović – Klarinet, Darko Perčević – Klarinet, Boštjan Lipovšek – Horna, Bogdan Đuranović – Bogot. The entrance to the concert is free.

Last evening classic Fest, 15. June at 20.00 in the Cultural Center of Pancevo, is a special concert of « Festival Vragoli », when the compositions of Grgina, Mozart, Beeth, Gersvina and Gulda, in the execution of the Balkan Chamber Academy’s ensemble. The guest of the soloist will be Dragan Djordjevic – Violoncello. The conductor is Ivan Markovic. And this concert is free for the audience.

Boban Tanasijević, the Music editor of the Cultural Center of Pancevo, stated that the city of Pancevo has been the presence of its establishment, as well as that the Festival has been supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia and the Provincial Secretariat for Culture, Public Information and Relations with Religious Communities. « I hope that the faithful audience of the classical music of Pancevo will come to all these concerts that are an exceptional artistic event for the city, » Tanasijevic concluded and stated that the entrance will be free for all concerts in the Festival.
