City city boy choir inspires visitors in the Mudam
In the Mudam The « Pueri Cantores du Conservatoire de Luxembourg » was enthusiastic about the listener present on Sunday afternoon. The performance was part of the « Luxembourg Museum Days 2025“, Which took place this weekend. Around 40 museums opened their doors between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.. Around 150 people experienced the singing in the Mudam. The young singers were about seven and twenty years old.
The performance referred to the this year’s world exhibition in Osaka, Japan. It was the program, which is also to be performed there, under the musical direction of the conductor Pierre Nimax. The same is sung on the national holiday.
Mudam: Complete inventory only remains accessible under conditions
The Mexican artist Barbara Sanchez-Kane had several performances at the weekend. Among other things, there were dance performances on Saturday. At the center of the exhibition on Sunday was the Horchata, a milk popular in Mexico, which serves as a metaphor for collectivity. The performance was premiered in Mexico, in Europe it shows the Mudam in cooperation with the Mexican Tono Festival.
The Mudam was the last initiative of curator Clémentine ProBy. In the near future she will move to Bristol in the United Kingdom, where she will work for an international center for contemporary art called « Spike Island ». In her installation in the Mudam, she treats the topics of time and community. Because of these ideas, the cooperation with the choir also came about.
