Citizenship has won!

In the last chronicle an appeal was made for citizens to actively participate in the electoral act and to take into account what they considered to be the country’s true interest, regardless of their ideological, doctrinal or partisan options.

Although the participation was lower than that verified in the first democratic elections, it is unambiguous that citizens responded: present.

It still remains to be investigated the results of the two circles from abroad (an excrescence, now meaningless, that remains in the Constitution), but it is already possible to state that abstention (35.6%) was the lowest of the last 30 years and much lower than 2024 (40.2%).

But the true abstention, both in 24, in 25, was surely much lower, as the electoral notebooks are full of errors and overlays that, not in question the fairness of the results, inflate the official levels of abstortionism.

The appeal for a stronger citizenship, made here, the Portuguese responded affirmatively.

Citizenship is therefore congratulations and with this sign, and contrary to what the ‘suspects of custom’ and the prophets of misfortune, democracy is well and is recommended. It is just necessary that they do not want or cannot spoil

It was also made an appeal to the renunciation of tribalism, as a usual process, of electoral choice. This appeal was also partially attended.

In fact the socialist party, the nuclear party, is not only worth the 23.38 % that the final accounts attribute to it. And it is also certain that the far right agenda, represented in the arrival of the arrival, is far from the 22.56% that the scrutiny, for now, attributed it.

It is passenger phenomena that will correct themselves over time, as long as the most responsible political agents learn from the mistakes made, move away to give visibility to new protagonists, with new ideas, different strategies and more noble delivery to the public cause.

The people never mistaken and politics, as nature has horror of emptiness. If ours disenchant us, let’s look for the neighbor.

Fortunately, the route to the abyss, based on instability as a rule, was locked at the moment.

But it was only because many citizens abandoned the ‘tribe choices’ and opted for other more rational and more efficient options.

It was a warning and a warning. Are they heard?

The responsibility is now tripartite.

It begins with parties with parliamentary representation that has a civic and moral duty to avoid new crises and ensure stability legislature.

It extends to the general communication that has to reflect and perceive the evil it has done to the regime with its practice of distressed and sensational journalism and the use and abuse of biased commentators, and most incompetent, who tried to explain to the voter what the voter had already noticed.

And finally passes through the PS, here individualized in the face of the other political actors, given the unparalleled importance it has for the democratic regime of the country.

The PS failed throughout the line and not just failed last year, with the ‘casting error’ which was the choice of the last SG.

No, the PS has been failing since 2015, following the Damn Costa with the regime with the creation of a magnitude for its sole use and personal benefit.

The day will come when the political, economic and social balance of this time will be made and what will be investigated will not be pleasant to scrutinize.

Now the strategy is fully identified and the protagonists who together have led the PS to the most humiliating defeat in its history.

Will PS be able to learn the lesson and will be able to regenerate?

From what has been seen in recent days it is not easy, as it will not be with the usual protagonists or their servers, which is built the ‘new’ that is necessary.
