Among detained is a professor Marija Vasić which is located in a prison hospital in Belgrade for hunger strike and thirst after her detention has been extended for another 30 days. Families and lawyers have announced that they have no official information about Professor Vasic since Thursday.

Students and citizens are protesting the arrest of the organization’s arrest on the basis of an audio recording of an eavesdrop on the interview, which was aired on regime television on March 14, Beta agency said. Defenders of the defendants repeatedly claimed that the security and information agency (BIA) had been eavesdropping on illegally, adding that the audio recording could not be legally valid evidence in the process.

The European Parliament requested a resolution on May 7th.
