Citizens choose to vote today so as not to waste a vacation / day

Some of the voters openly admitted that they were voting today so that there was no need to spend the holiday on Saturday. On the contrary, another voter will have to work on Saturday, so he will not be able to vote, so she arrived today.

For some voters, the choice to vote for was easy. They had previously figured out which list would be voted on. For others, the choice was difficult.

A family admitted that the choice was difficult because they wanted to vote for the locals they know. However, since the addition of Baldone in Kekava County, the lists have representatives of other neighborhoods that Baldonians do not know. In addition, if a Baldone representative is included at the end of the electoral list, there is virtually no hope for such a politician.

Previously, when the voting was held on the Baldone County Council, it was easier, because then it was necessary to vote for people everyone knew and the choice was simpler.

As LETA observed, the 663rd was opened in time, and its staff explained to the voters how to make a mistake by filling the ballot.

There was no hitch at the beginning of the polling station.

LETA has already reported that prior voting in municipal elections began this afternoon, LETA learned about the Central Election Commission (CEC).

The previous voting of the municipal elections today began in a total of 948 districts throughout Latvia.

Municipal elections will take place on the first Saturday of June.
