« Circus de Soleil » returns to Bulgaria with a new impressive show


After nine years « Circus de Soleil » returned to Bulgaria with six performances – from April 30 to May 3, 2026 at Arena 8888 Sofia, announced by BG Sound Stage. The audience will be able to enjoy the OVO show that recreates the world of insects, involving nearly 100 people from 25 different countries. The show is suitable for both children and adults.

Ovo comes from Portuguese and means an egg, and the show is a holiday of diversity, dynamics and fragile harmony in nature, it is noted in its presentation. The show includes numerous acrobatic performances, impressive costumes and original music and has already been viewed by over 7 million people in over 40 countries.

Viewers will also be able to hear the 7-member orchestra performing barefoot Nova, Samba, funk and electromusic created by Brazilian composer Berna Sepas.

In 1984 in Quebec, Canada, over the years, Circus de Soley has become a lobbly phenomenon, changing the idea of ​​a circus. For four decades, the world -famous troupe has shown its creative approach in various forms of entertainment – multimedia productions, irregular experiences and special events. Since its creation, the performances of the circus have been viewed by over 400 million people, and the troupe has over 4,000 employees, including 1,200 artists from 80 different nationalities.

In 2020, Circus de Soleli announced bankruptcy and released about 3,500 people, including acrobats, which are an important part of the performances. The cause of the company then pointed out the pandemic that caused a number of performances. A year later, she began to resume her operations again.
