Ciolacu’s government will declare national mourning day
The Romanian Government will declare the national mourning day in Romania after the death of Pope Francis, according to the sources quoted by Freedom.
The government led by Marcel Ciolacu would follow in the Government meeting on Thursday to decree for Saturday, April 26, a national mourning, in the context of Pope Francis.
In 2005, the government led by Călin Popescu-Tariceanu decided that the day of April 8, 2005 would be a mourning day in Romania « in memory of his sanctity, Pope John Paul II ».
The institutions are obliged to fly the flag of Romania, according to the legislation in force.
The national radio and television stations, as well as the cultural institutions, must adapt their programs, and all the cultural, artistic and sports manifestations for mourning days are postponed, according to the legislation in our country.
