Christian Foundation must rectify lies about Rutgers’ Week of the Spring jitters
The Civitas Christiana Foundation must immediately stop distributing the so -called ‘Zwartboek Spring jitters’, thus judges The court in Utrecht in the summary proceedings that was brought by Knowledge Center Rutgers. Civitas is also not allowed to make further unlawful statements about Rutgers and the Week of the Spring jitters, and must rectify the earlier statements.
This year, the ultra -conservative Catholic Foundation has published a ‘black book’ about the Week of the Spring jitters, a national project week in which extra attention is paid to relational and sexual education. It was said that the lesson content, made by the expertise center, « sexualizes children » and « encourages pedophilia. » Rutgers claimed that these claims were demonstrably incorrect, and therefore demanded that the ‘black book’ would be withdrawn urgently and the content is rectified. This requirement has been honored with the judge’s decision.

The ultra -conservative Catholic foundation was founded in 2014, with the aim of fighting for the traditional Catholic family and against ‘the advancing multiculturalism and gender ideology’. The foundation has been focusing its arrows for years on the Week of the Spring Jitters. Under the name ‘Family in danger’, thirteen reasons were given on the website to protest by the week of the spring jitters. Second lawsuit
It is not the only criminal proceedings against Civitas Christiana that serves this week on such ‘hate camps’. When the Foundation again led to Lammers this year, the author decided to make a business against the foundation. In the courtroom, the author announced that he no longer wanted to defend himself « against horrible lies. » The case came to a settlement on Wednesday: the foundation promised to remove the statements about the author and not to repeat them in the future. Afterwards, the writer said he was happy with the settlement and to focus on a collection of poems about love: « Because if I have taught me something in the last two years, then it is that this world can use a little more love. »
