Christian forgiveness and the current world
The Easter holidays made me think of the geopolitical impasse in which the contemporary world is struggling; All the more so with all the Christians: Orthodox, Catholics and Protestants, they celebrate the Easter together. Is it a good sign? The signs of the time are violated and give us little hope. Humanity is in the fight with itself. And I remember what Professor Vasile Posteuca said, a Romanian political refugee during the Second War: « In World War the War, man will fight and the front line will pass through our hearts. » Did I get there? Here in the United States, brothers argued between them and many friends broke. Republicans and democrats no longer talk to each other. Americans seem to live in different dimensions as if they are on other planets. Not about understanding. And I wonder what happened to Christian love and forgiveness?
In fact, in the West, the world became and the devil came out directly, aggressive and face. There is no embarrassment, no shame and fear. He overturned all the moral and Christian values and asks us to be like him. He asks us to serve him and to glorify him and expect to worship Mamon. It asks us to accept homo-support; Let’s give up the family; Let’s close the churches and meet in temples dedicated to Satan.
The most reversed struggle of the unclean is not against God he knows cannot touch; He is against Jesus, the one who preached love and forgiveness and who by his crucifixion has ensured our salvation. The struggle against the Savior and the people who follow him has been in a deaf for almost two thousand years. The world sits on a powder barrel and the powder is nuclear and has apocalyptic.
Meanwhile, the Western European countries have dismissed morally and spiritually and have entered social and political decline. For fear of not losing control over the Gentiles, the neo-Marxists from Brussels canceled the Romanian elections and blocked those in France. On the other hand, specialists claim that England, France, Germany are in economic decline and will be very difficult, if not impossible, to recover. The situation is similar in the Middle East where the genocide has exceeded any limits. The buildings in Gaza practically no longer exist, and the Palestinians had to be kicked out of the country. It seems that in his own way, Netaniahu is waiting for the Messiah. He really wants to force his hand to come as soon as possible and save his political career. Meanwhile, a group of radical Jews began the preliminary works to rebuild the temple. Here in America, Protestant Christians also support the Israeli vision, which in their opinion would announce the second coming of Jesus, but we hit a great dilemma. True Christians believe without reservation in the return of Jesus; Without this comeback Christianity would lose its meaning. And it is very possible that when he returns, the Jews will understand that Jesus is actually the expected Messiah. Will they accept it, will they repent, or will they reject it again? These days when we are waiting for the holy light in Jerusalem, Israel and the whole Middle East to Iran is ready to explode. Events could immediately hire the United States, the Arab world and the whole of Europe.
Currently, President Trump is somehow dissociates by the European Union and distances himself from the North Atlantic Alliance, but has firm commitments to Israel. The geopolitical situation is complicated, however, because it is not known what kind of weapons Iran has and how it will use them. In addition, both Russia and China have concluded special agreements with Iran and the clauses are not known. Moscow, who has just signed a strategic partner with Tehran, has already drawn the attention that the triggering of an attack on Iran could lead to a world conflagration.
And I return to the Easter holidays. Where is the spirit of understanding, peace, love and forgiveness? We are in the great week and we expect the Resurrection of the Lord … Christ has resurrected!
