Chivu will be a coach at Inter Milan!

UPDATE Cristian Chivu has reached an agreement with Inter Milan and will sign the contract with the finalist UEFA Champions League on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Parma gave her agreement for her coach, the Romanian Cristian Chivu, to negotiate with Inter Milan, writes Tuttomercatoweb.

According to the quoted site, Inter chose Cristian Chivu as his next coach, after the separation of Simone Inzaghi.

After Como’s refusal to let go of the technician CESC Fabregas, Inter leadership scheduled a meeting with Cristian Chivu for the next few hours. The Romanian, who has already been to the club both as a player and as a trainer of the youth team, could therefore return as a coach of the first team. The parties will meet soon and try to reach an agreement that should not be difficult to find.

On Thursday morning, Cristian Chivu’s agent met with Parma officials to discuss the coach’s future. According to TMW, Parma allowed the Romanian to negotiate with Inter, a sign that the coach would like to sign with the Milanese group, after the months spent at Parma that led to the rescue of the team from relegation.

Parma would have had the opportunity to unilaterally extend Chivu’s contract, having an option to his advantage, but preferred not to exercise it.

If the Romanian understands himself with Inter, he should terminate his contract with Parma, valid until June 30, 2025, in order to be able to sit on the bank of the European Club World Cup.
