China vs. Taiwan

According to Taiwan, China regularly does military exercises around it and the number of cyber attacks has also increased recently.

Beijing considers Taiwan to be his split province. The island has long claimed and increases military, diplomatic and political pressure against it.

The official name of Taiwan is the Republic of China and both state departments broke up during the civil war, where the Communists won the mainland in 1949.

Beijing’s indignation was caused by Taiwanese President Laj Ching in mid-March when he declared that Taiwanese laws refer to mainland China as « foreign enemy power » and the country is taking stricter measures to prevent subversive activities by the People’s Republic of China.
