The children’s and youth gangs, on the account of which in Vienna now, well over 1,000 criminal complaints, especially because of burglaries, are increasingly targeting pharmacies. According to the police, the youth gang has around 60 to 70 members in the districts affected by pharmacy infranties « seem to be 20 to 30 of them », continued the advocacy. « They are mostly (partially) masked, but not always. » There is already a closer circle of suspects. The LKA has investigations into a children’s and youth gang that is said to have burglaries in cars and shops from autumn 2023 to the beginning of December 2024 alone.
