Where to start at all? In the fact that the far -right alternative for Germany, these days, has received a sign of proven right radical party that acts unconstitutionally, thereby threatening the democratic order. Perhaps the fact that one of the biggest threats to post -war arrangements and peace comes from the other side of the Atlantic, from the president administration Donald Trumpwho obviously has neither historical memory nor is aware of the responsibility he bears. Or maybe with the German president Frank-Walter Steinmeierwho said in a speech marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in the Federal Parliament, which many – and more and more of them – do not want to hear (anymore). Namely, the Germans committed the atrocities of World War II.

Germans and not national socialists, as a kind of half -imaginary group of people who are not connected to the (today’s) Germans. « The Germans were the ones who triggered this crime war and plunged the whole of Europe into the abyss. » « The Germans were those who caused the Holocaust. » And try new writing of history. The spirit of fascism, national socialism, imperialism is again spreading around the world, and most dangerous, it is spread by those who should stand mostly opposite.

But what kind of children on May 8 (in Slovenia on May 9) are we actually? The rise of AfD proves that many Germans have neither accepted nor reconciled with the horrific historical responsibility of their ancestors. They are not ready to learn anything from history. Neither to realize that the past does not predict the future, but that it is possible to live differently and newly. AFD has already represented more than a quarter of German voters. The second largest German party is controlled by intelligence due to the endangering of the German constitutional order. The entire party at the federal level is now considered to threaten the German constitutional order.

AFD MEPs did not clap at the speech of President Steinmeier. How, however, when they do not agree with the historical responsibility of the Germans, they want to return to the times of national socialism, ethnic cleansing and new borders. It is difficult to understand that the German democratic midfield has not yet come to the realization that AFD cannot be overcome in its terrain. AFD is a party that does not play according to democratic rules, but is deprived of these rules and utilized for its maximum benefit. The longer the parties to the democratic midfield will discuss the introduction of a client’s prohibition procedure, the more its power and thus its legitimacy will increase.

It is a tricky realization that with (m) o children 8. May, who, with dirty boots, walk along the blood of peace, which has brought peace and an unprecedented increase in prosperity for generations in a row. It is a tricky realization that the former allies who laid the first foundations of this prosperity are now those who will also destroy this prosperity. And with this people, such as the American veteran Guhs, and to all those who still carry the traumatic consequences of World War II today, they announced that their victim was in vain.

What the desire to repeat history is wondered by the German president. Really, why? We already know everything. We know where the arousal of hatred leads to different, where the shameless populism leads, the abuse of human fears to increase political power, the lack of empathy and the contempt of human dignity. We have experienced all this many times and know what abyss this path leads. AFD wants to take us again along this path. Investigators of the internal intelligence service, whose task is to disclose and control forces that want to collapse the German constitutional order, outline this path in a large document on AfD.

AFD is a must. Those quarter of the Germans who support this extremist party, who wants to ethnicly purify the wrong Germans, must be clearly and loudly reported that supporting that party is not democratic and leading to a disaster. German politics will have to do this before it is too late. And it could be too late at the end of the Chancellor’s term Friedricha Merza. In the future federal parliamentary elections, AFD victory is a completely realistic option. The customer is practically equal to Merz’s CDU today.

Those who argue that AFD would soften and dadicle in power are boldly disturbed. AFD is not a classic right -wing populist party that uses a strained rhetoric only for coming to power. This is a client aimed at eliminating the current liberal democracy. Party politicians tell us every step of the way, in every speech in parliament and on the street. Similar to Putin and Trump, they clearly communicate what their goals are. But we are as blind and deaf. Has the reality have become so unbearable that we cling to every small hope that it is not really?

The 80’s anniversary of the end of World War II, celebrated in the circumstances of the war in our neighborhood, genocide in Gaza and the outbreak of fighting between Nuclear superpowers and Pakistan, is a good time to think about where and why we went. Times are more groundbreaking than we might think. And it is afraid that this time, as almost exactly a century ago, we will not see it in time.
